The Definition of a Nation

I came across this meme in my readings and it has stuck with me since seeing it and reading it.

the motive

Our nation has (or had depending on who you speak with) defined ideals and it's on us to protect those ideals. A nation willing to let itself be plundered in thought, spirit, ideal, ethics and morality isn’t a nation at all.

Our nation has an amazing foundation of idealism and spirit within our Declaration of Independence and it’s been carried forward since 1787 with our Constitution.

There is not much else I can add to this profound statement as pictured.

Sit with it, sit with its meaning and then reflect on other nations who have clear identities, clear success, and think what is it they tolerate and allow and what do they don’t.

Consider the motives of those who would scoff at this picture and its words and then ask yourself would they sign, or would they be a turncoat of today?

If you want some bedrock, foundational type reading on how we’ve arrived to where we are, and these issues pre date March of 2020, then read this book Suicide of The West by Richard Koch.

A nation willing to let itself be plundered in thought, spirit, ideal, ethics and morality isn’t a nation at all.
